The specification includes state-of-the-art driver assistance and parking systems with integrated Mercedes-Benz Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC for automatic control of speed and vehicle distance. Complemented by high-resolution camera, radar and sensor systems, the system assists the driver in urban traffic, on the motorway, and when manoeuvring and parking. The result is noticeably greater driving comfort, improved situational awareness and seamless integration into existing vehicle architectures.

Factory assistance systems – retrofitted.

Many Mercedes-Benz vehicles leave the factory without all the assistance and comfort systems available for the model. Almost all factory driver assistance, comfort and parking systems can be retrofitted – from the 360° camera and DISTRONIC Plus to Parking Pilot.

What matters is the integration: with original components and professional integration into the existing vehicle architecture, the systems work as if fitted at the factory and follow the series operating concept. The result is noticeably more driving comfort and better awareness of the surroundings.
