Performance upgrade Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed

737 PS (+152 PS) on production hardware with vehicle-specific Lambda‑GT calibration

From 585 to 737 PS. A one-off project, not a series process.

Lambda‑GT develops the PureSpeed from 585 PS and 800 Nm to 737 PS on its production hardware.

The PureSpeed is a speedster with no roof and no windscreen, limited to 250 vehicles worldwide. A calibration for a car like this does not come from a catalogue, but is developed on the specific car. Lambda‑GT presents further stages under Performance packages.

Power delivery

152 PS more – linear and safely controllable.

Without roof and windscreen, power is experienced more immediately, more loudly and more directly.

Boost pressure control, cylinder charge and torque build-up are calibrated to the specific vehicle configuration. The torque rise stays linear, so that the additional power can be metered safely even at high speed and in the open driving position – the extra 152 PS amplify the character of the speedster rather than drowning it out.

Calibration

Individual Calibration: tailored to the specific PureSpeed.

With 250 cars built, there is no reliable average on which a universal dataset could be based.

Before calibration, the existing software and data version of the vehicle is read out; software version and equipment are taken into account. Each vehicle is documented as a project in its own right.

Protective functions

The PureSpeed's standard protective functions are not deactivated for the additional power.

Knock control, exhaust gas temperature monitoring, component protection and limp-home strategies remain part of the engine management.

In a collector's car, preserving its substance outweighs any additional tenth of a second. The additional power is calibrated within the intended operating limits.

Data status & release

Developed, tested and documented – for the PureSpeed.

The released data version is archived with the respective vehicle.

Changes are developed against defined targets for performance, driveability and thermal behaviour, verified by measurement and documented. This keeps the development traceable even years later – in a collector's car, part of preserving its value.

Engineering Validation

The calibration is not released after a single power run.

After calibration, Lambda‑GT tests the PureSpeed under defined conditions: acceptance drive, power measurement and various operating states.

Validation is carried out on this very car – not on an identical reference vehicle.

Dyno Verified

737 PS are measured on the specific vehicle – not taken from a data sheet.

Every PureSpeed calibrated by Lambda‑GT is measured on the in-house dyno after calibration.

The certificate becomes part of the vehicle's documentation and accompanies it, including on a later sale.

737 PS for the Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed – individually calibrated, validated and measured on the dyno.

The Lambda‑GT calibration for the PureSpeed combines the performance upgrade on production hardware with vehicle-specific calibration, technical validation and documented power measurement.

The calibration can also be extended with further functions or performance components – each request is individually assessed, calibrated and documented. Examples can be found under Real vehicle projects and Personalised vehicle configurations.
